The project targets mainly
women, youth, conflict-affected, poor, persons living with
disabilities and other socially excluded
and disadvantaged communities and households.
The project period is five years from August 2009 to December
2014.
Within the Period
Detailed livelihood profile and baseline
survey of working VDCs will be prepared.
Over 1000 micro community infrastructure projects
will be developed and damaged and degraded infrastructures
rehabilitated, generating short-term employment.
271 local unemployed youth will receive training
on social mobilization on community peace building.
Women Rights Forum will be formed in 271 VDCs to
act against gender based violence and work for women
empowerment and gender equality.
